Chili Pepper Quilt Patterns was started in 2005 by pattern designer Laurie MacDonald who lives in Saanichton, British Columbia - which is on Vancouver Island just outside Victoria. Laurie had been doing paper piecing for some years and loved to do patterns that were a little out of the ordinary. She started documenting her own designs and found other quilters wanted to make them too, so began publishing the patterns.

The main goal of Chili Pepper is to provide patterns for quilts that - although they may look complicated - are actually very straightforward and easy to make. We concentrate our efforts on providing very detailed instructions and diagrams so you'll be able to enjoy making the patterns as much as we do.
